My
Story

I’m a documentary photographer based in the Northwest, originally from the UK. I’ve spent years traveling and working in different places, but it’s the landscapes and communities of this region that now feel most like home.
I share my life with two energetic border collies, and when I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outside or playing the saxophone whenever time allows.
My path into photography began in newspaper journalism, where I learned to work quickly, pay attention, and tell stories with care and honesty. That experience continues to shape how I photograph weddings. I’m drawn to real moments, quiet connections, and the details that often go unnoticed but carry a lot of meaning.
Every wedding is different because every group of people is different. My aim is to document the day as it truly unfolds, capturing both the big moments and the in-between ones, so that when you look back, you don’t just see how it looked, but remember how it felt to be there.

"Working with Amiran was an exceptional experience. From the start her communication and professionalism put our minds at ease. My wife and I were looking for a wedding photographer and it was starting to feel like Goldilocks looking for the perfect photographer, until we found Amiran. It was amazing to review the photos she took and laugh together about how we never noticed her during the ceremony and never heard shutter clicks, yet she somehow captured our special day perfectly. I would highly recommend Amiran to any friend or family member. If you are reading this, do yourself a favor and reach out to her. That’s all it took for us to know we were working with a true professional that understands photography and also works hard to understand her clients."
